A Message from the President
It would be an understatement to say that our mem-
bers are aware of the fact that Palmira Golf Club
and the future of the Palmira community are inextri-
cably linked. As of this writing, we have succeeded
well beyond the restructuring point. Our member-
ship has responded by committing to going forward.
The result; a stabilized sustaining membership and
a member owned facility producing a sensible finan-
cial environment with comfortable liquidity and pro-
jected cash flows. Conservative planning has
taken place with respect to implementation of golf
and social activities and many of these activities are
already on the drawing board for the upcoming sea-
son. Social memberships have been reinstated
and a number of applications have already been
received. An upsurge in resales within the commu-
nity has been noted , along with a good number of
golf membership inquiries which causes us to ex-
pect to see some new faces around the club this
fall.

Many thanks are due to our committee volunteers;
all of whom have taken a sincere, wise and devoted
approach to the many issues at hand. Our golf fa-
cilities are in terrific shape and rival the best around.
The Golf committee has proposed an active sched-
ule of events for the upcoming season.
Similarly, the House committee has planned many
social events and limited re-opening in the clubhouse
dining room.

The Beautification committee has been successful in
it's initial fundraising attempts. Marketing, Member-
ship and Communications committees remain very
active. The Renaissance Center functions under the
Master Homeowners' Association and still maintains
it's popularity amongst all residents and members.
Our management team continues to function effec-
tively and works well with the Board of Directors.

We are aware of the difficulties many similar commu-
nities in Southwest Florida are experiencing. We
have received a number of inquiries from various
outside member groups who are dealing with issues
similar to those that we have succeeded in resolving
our own takeover. They tell us how enviable they
are in observing the level of success achieved here
at Palmira. We wish those communities now facing
similar transition problems have as loyal membership
as we are fortunate to have.

Frank Percuoco, President
